“Sailing Over”
Ceremonial vessel / Burial Urn
Handmade paper vessel painted with gesso and acrylic paint. The base and the rim of the lid are woven with cane and threads . There are amethyst stones sewn onto the surface of the rim and the base. The sailing vessel on the lid is made from paper with stones sewn onto the hull.
Inside the vessel there is a handmade “memory” book.
